Advanced Epic 8 (short AE8) is a Roleplaying Game System under Open Gaming Licence 1.0a.
Based on the Epic 6 set of houserules for the well known Dungeons & Dragons (3rd Edition by Wizards of the Coast). Therefor there shall be a degree of compatibility between classical D&D 3.5 rules that are available under Open Gaming License and AE8.
Advanced Epic 8 is capped at 8th level, but also makes some changes to the core mechanic that make it an individual game.
